A great original Rover colour combination & quite rare to find these days.

The Mini Cooper was relaunched in 1990 in collaboration with John Cooper, as it first was in the 1960s.  From 1990 to approximately 1993 they used carburettors, which for the true enthusiast is the best option as there is no ECU computers on board, catalytic converter can be removed as it’s not required to pass the MoT emissions test, so a true classic car.

This Cooper has been with the same family for 22 years & first came to us in April 2004 for general repairs & servicing. Over the years we have done various body repairs & maintenance.

The time has reluctantly come to pass this Mini on due to the owner’s poor health.  The Mini has been garaged for the last few years & only covered 1550 miles since 2018.

Due to little use over the last few years & most of the systems being factory original it needed a bit of TLC before it goes to a new owner.

The following parts have been fitted : –

 4 New tyres, Maniflow exhaust system + LCB manifold, Rear brake shoes & cylinders, Front brake discs & pads, Radiator, Top & bottom radiator hoses, Thermostat & housing, Heater matrix, Engine oil & filter, Air filter, Spark plugs, Distributor cap & rotor arm, Rocker cover gasket, Engine bay coolant hoses. Auxiliary cooling fan sensor

The body work is solid & exceptionally good for a Mini of this age but by no means mint, if it were mint there would be another £10,000 on the sale price. The sills are good factory specification sills, doors are very good & generally all round a solid example.

The Mini drives superbly, engine is strong & it sounds great.  In original factory specification apart from the exhaust system.

Very difficult to find a genuine original example these days.

Huge history file including,  MoT certificates, Service receipts, Original Owners Handbook, In car entertainment book, Service book.

Mini still has its factory fitted Radio/Cassette player – Radio works but cassette unchecked

Both sets of Keys are present

So a nice example fully serviced, MoT’d & ready for summer use
